SEVEN PINES RESIDENTIAL CLEANING: SERVICES OUTLINE GUIDE

This guide outlines exactly what is included in each of our core cleaning packages, what tasks can be added as extras, and what falls outside our scope of service. This ensures absolute clarity, consistent quality, and transparent billing for our clients and staff alike.

 

1. MAINTENANCE CLEAN (Standard Recurring Care)

Designed for homes that have had a deep clean within the last 30 days and require routine upkeep to preserve cleanliness.

Kitchen Area:

• Wipe down exteriors of all large appliances (fridge, oven, dishwasher).
• Clean and sanitize countertops, backsplashes, and sink basin.
• Clean exterior of microwave (interior included if light build-up).
• Empty trash and recycling bins (re-lined with client-supplied bags).
• Vacuum and mop floors.

 

Bathrooms:

• Scrub, sanitize, and polish shower stalls, bathtubs, and wall tiles.
• Sanitize toilets (bowl, seat, base, and lid).
• Clean mirrors, countertops, and vanity sinks.
• Dust light fixtures and wipe towel racks.
• Vacuum and mop floors.

 

Living Areas, Bedrooms, & Workspaces:

• High and low dusting of accessible surfaces (tables, nightstands, shelving).
• Quick dust of electronic exteriors (TVs, monitors).
• Tidy up and make beds (linen changing must be pre-arranged as an add-on).
• Thoroughly vacuum all carpets, rugs, and hard floors.
• Thoroughly mop all hard surface floors.

 

2. DEEP CLEAN (First-Time or Seasonal Detail)

An intensive, top-to-bottom detail clean required for all first-time clients, or as a seasonal refresh. Includes EVERYTHING in the Maintenance Clean, PLUS:

• Detailed hand-wiping of all baseboards, trim, and door frames.
• Meticulous dusting of blinds, shutters, and interior window ledges.
• Detailed cleaning of all light switches and door handles.
• Heavy scrubbing of kitchen backsplashes to remove grease build-up.
• Extended detail scrubbing of bathroom grout and hard-water buildup.
• Extensive high dusting (ceiling corners for cobwebs, ceiling fan blades).
• Vacuuming along edges of carpets using crevice tools.

 

3. MOVING CLEAN (Turnover Service)

A completely comprehensive clean for vacant homes transitioning between owners, tenants, or landlords. Includes EVERYTHING in the Deep Clean, PLUS:

• Cleaning the inside of all empty kitchen and bathroom cabinets and drawers.
• Cleaning the inside of the refrigerator and freezer (must be defrosted).
• Cleaning the inside of the oven (including racks and glass door).
• Detailed vacuuming inside all bedroom and hallway closets.

 

4. STUDENT CLEAN (Efficient Campus Living Care)

A budget-conscious, specialized package tailored specifically for student apartments, shared housing, and dorms in the Kingston campus areas. Core Focus Areas:

• Thorough sanitation of shared high-traffic zones (communal kitchen countertops, sink, and bathroom).
• Vacuuming and mopping of all high-traffic hallway floors.
• Basic wipe-down of desk and bedroom surfaces (if bedroom option is selected).
• Trash removal and disposal to designated property bins.
• Note: Student cleans focus heavily on sanitizing and surface wiping rather than deep aesthetic detailing to keep costs affordable for student budgets.

 

5. OFFICE CLEANING (Corporate & Commercial Workspaces)

Customized maintenance for local Kingston businesses to ensure a pristine, professional environment. Core Focus Areas:

• Emptying all individual desk trash and recycling bins.
• Sanitizing high-touch surfaces (doorknobs, keypad entries, office printers).
• Cleaning and sanitizing the staff breakroom/kitchenette (sink, counters, microwave).
• Detailed cleaning and continuous sanitation of staff and public restrooms.
• Vacuuming high-traffic commercial carpets and mopping hard-surface flooring.
• Dusting of reception desks, waiting area tables, and accessible filing cabinets.

 

➕ OPTIONAL ADD-ON SERVICES (Extra Charges)

To customize any clean, clients can add these specific tasks. Because they require additional time and specialized effort, they carry fixed extra charges:

• Inside Oven Detail (If added to Maintenance/Deep Clean): + $40.00
• Inside Fridge/Freezer Detail (If added to Maintenance/Deep Clean): + $40.00
• Inside Empty Kitchen & Bathroom Cabinets: + $50.00
• Exterior Window Glass Cleaning: + $5.00 per window. (Strictly limited to ground-level windows that are completely reachable without the use of ladders. This service excludes any floor-to-ceiling windows or premium oversized panes).
• Interior Window Glass Cleaning: + $5.00 per window. (Limited to windows accessible without the use of extension ladders).
• Changing Bed Linens (Per bed, fresh linens must be left out): + $10.00
• Patio Door Glass Cleaning: Included in scope. (Both interior and exterior sides are covered, but exterior washing is strictly weather-dependent).
• Finished Basement Cleaning: Billed at standard hourly rate based on extra time required.

 

❌ OUT OF SCOPE SERVICES (What We Cannot Do)

For the safety of our staff, insurance compliance, and equipment limitations, the following tasks are strictly excluded from all service packages:

 

• Biohazards & Bodily Fluids: Clean-up of pet accidents, feces, urine, vomit, blood, or severe mold.
• Hoarding & Gross Filth: Compulsive hoarding conditions or severe trash build-up.
• Heavy Lifting: Moving any furniture or major appliances weighing over 35 lbs.
• High Heights: Cleaning any surface requiring a ladder higher than a standard 2-step stool.
• Exterior Cleaning: Window washing from the outside, power washing patios, or garage detailing (with the sole exception of weather-dependent patio door glass and qualifying ground-level windows).
• Post-Construction Fine Dust: Unless explicitly contracted under a specialized commercial post-construction rate.
